[Au Price] Scrap gold prices drop, Platinum and Silver gains on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 30th July on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However the prices of Platinum and Silver gained marginally.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 6.30 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went lower by $ 8.07 and $ 9.86 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also slipped by $ 4.04 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap surged by $ 5.11 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too were marginally higher by $ 0.02 per Oz to touch $ 12.05 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 5.96 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 7.64 and $ 9.33 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices also declined by $ 3.82 per Oz. A jump of $ 5.11 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day.
